ScoopFree® HP1 Litter Box Hood Latest 2009 Review

Since the past few weeks, I was looking for a perfect litter box for my pet. I was really irritated a lot by my older box. I was also conscious of the price rates and wanted to value my investment on apposite and high quality product, so I read lots of reviews about litter boxes on various sites. I was impressed with the features of this Scoopfree HP 1 Litter box hood and decided to purchase it. Till date, I have never felt any complaints regarding this box; it completely removes the litter away and maintains the cleanliness and sanitation. Also, it avoids the spreading of litter in the entire place, I was really very happy with my purchase. Cover of this box also performs its duty well and never lets the crystals to fly anywhere else. Covering with transparent plastic stuff was really appealing.

I had no issues regarding the pricing of this litter box. The mechanism of sliding was really fascinating me as my cat would easily slide from this box easily. Overall, I will give it full marks for its beautiful design and high performance. I will suggest you to purchase the cartridges along with if you want to take full benefit from it.

The ScoopFree LB1 Self-Cleaning Litter Box

I bought the ScoopFree LB1 Self-Cleaning Litter Box as a form of replacement for the automated litterbox I earlier used. It was the Petmate Purrformat Plus XL. In comparison to the awful Petmate, the ScoopFree LB1 Litter Box is really wonderful.

The ScoopFree LB1 has an automatic rake that can switch directions. The rake keeps on moving from the front to the back to the box’s rear side. It means that there is not any sign of litter on the wall at the rear of the box. There is an even distribution of litter along the box’s bottom every time.

Also unlike the Petmate, the rake in the ScoopFree LB1 returns back to its starting point every time. With a forward sweep the purple part tends to rise up and the rake then pushes anything that is caught underneath it. Another thing that makes it better than the Petmate Purrformat Plus XL is that it is really quiet. In comparison the Petmate is absolutely awful, however the ScoopFree just makes a gentle humming sound. Also it has a larger capacity then the Petmate. So in simple word I’ll say buy the ScoopFree LB1 and get your money’s worth. 4.5 Out of 5 for it from me.
